Adult Services
The Phoenix Center public drug screening:
- Lab hours are Mon-Thur 9:00am to 5:45 pm and Friday 8:30am to 1:00pm.
- Payment is required for drug test prior to processing.
Below is a list of available tests along with the cost. For any other information, test results, or if you need to schedule an appointment for a drug screen outside our posted hours, please contact Kaylyn Mercer at 864-467-3305.

Drug Testing
Instant Urine Test

Breathalyzer – Breathalyzer test is a device used to measure the blood alcohol content of a person’s breath using a chemical reaction. – $20

Etg – ONLY – EtG is a direct metabolite of alcohol (ethanol). The presence of EtG in urine is an indicator that ethanol was ingested and can be detected in urine for up to 80 hours after ingestion. – $35

- Any client requesting a drug test is required to pay for the test prior to collection. This includes active clients requesting an additional test the counselor has not requested.
- Any non-active client requesting an instant test be sent to the lab for confirmation, must pay the additional $40 prior to the test being shipped. We are unable to bill non-active clients.
- Due to the expense of hair-strand testing, all hair-strand tests have to be paid for prior to collection unless they are being referred by DSS who is responsible for payment.
